As The Wheel Turns: Women's Cacao Ceremony @ Boghall House // Sat 2nd Oct
Saturday 2nd October, 1500 - 1900 at Boghall, Milngavie
Arrive from 1430, drift off after (or stay the night)
Gorgeous beings, let’s gather. And this time, in the stunning new witches castle deep in the heart of the Scottish west coast: Boghall House. A stunning Baronial Manor on its own private land with mature trees, a bubbling brook, sweeping views and enchanted gardens to be held in.
As the wheel turns, and the equinox passes, we feel in our animal bodies the coming of the Calleach — the Celtic crone Goddess of winter. It is a tender time, of slowing down, of more deeply feeling what is within. As the trees shed their leaves, we shed what we need to let go. As the earth receives their nourishment, we too offer our prayers to her. And She receives it all.
In this cacao ceremony we will tune in to the four elements that always feel so present at this time of year, anchoring the intention of the whole ceremony as one of gratitude. To the earth. To the elements. To each other. To our own hearts. We will weave between a safe indoor space, and the soft earth and four elements outdoors. We will dance barefoot on the earth, sing to the elements, sit around a fire pit to offer prayers and ritual, dusk gaze, and say hello to Mama Moon as our ceremony closes.
Can you feel in your bones how magical this will be? We have been weaving magic together in Scotland for years, the community of sisters gathering has grown and so has the waking up of the old ways, the nature communing, the fae folk, the witches and the Goddess. It only keeps getting better….
And so, you are invited to this inaugural cacao ceremony at Boghall House! Spaces are limited so advance booking is essential.
To get to Boghall House: It is just outside Milngavie (pronounced Mul-guy), which is a 15 minute train ride north of Glasgow, from Glasgow Queen Street. It’s super easy to get from Edinburgh to Milgavie: train from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen St, then Glasgow Queen St to Milgavie. If you are getting the train, there will be transport arranged to whisk you away to the witches castle and take you back to the train station before and after the ceremony. If you are driving, directions will be given — and car sharing is recommended!
There is also the option to stay the night at Boghall House after, which can be booked separately directly with the House. It is not yet open to general visitors, but you get a witches VIP access. Just email pieterpaul@vegvisiradvisory.com referencing the Cacao Ceremony.
